ABOUT

I am a specialist in Photography and a trained higher education teacher. In 2017, I studied at The University of Huddersfield, achieving a BA (Hons) 2:1 classification in Photography. In 2020 I studied at Manchester Metropolitan University (Manchester School of Art) where I achieved my Masters.

My photographic collections explore and highlight the culture and history of a place by documenting everyday behaviours, social inequalities, architecture, landscape, people, customs and history as I travel from country to country. I try and get under the skin of a place by exploring and focussing on the land, its people and cultures that live within. In a period in history where tolerance of the unknown or different is waning, the need to document and explain differences and underline similarities is important.
